During the year of 1975 I started to learn the Ancient Art of Chinese Painting whilst living in Manila the capital of the Philippines, this was under the Tutelage of a Chinese Master.

Having lived and worked in various parts of the world I have always held dear the fact that there is a creative person in all people. I now teach Chinese Ink Drawing and Painting both Traditional and Contemporary and am thrilled to have been invited by Chinese Academics to establish the Bamboo Academy.

I am Chairman of the Trustees and welcome you to experience the peace and tranquility of Chinese Painting. You do not need any previous art experience as Tutors will instruct you in relaxing stages and having reached the required standard you will be welcome to exhibit.

Families are welcome to attend the Workshops, Demonstrations and Exhibitions.

Bamboo Academy Members have exhibited in various venues already, and are welcome to exhibit their work at Workshops so that other members can enjoy their work as well.
